As a Forensic Consultant
Dr. Rappaport professionally advises, strategizes, and guides attorneys in understanding and formulating their civil and criminal cases where emotional damage or mental conditions are at issue. He is noted as a forensic psychiatrist for his in-depth and detailed expertise with all psychiatric diagnoses, the essential basis for all of the forensic issues listed below. He has been engaged by more than 2000 attorneys representing either plaintiffs or defendants. He is able to assist in choosing other appropriate experts and juries, and in the preparation of declarations when desired.
As an Expert Witness
Dr. Rappaport reviews and evaluates pertinent records, conducts psychiatric interviews, and authors written reports providing diagnoses, opinions, and medical-legal conclusions. He prepares and organizes the production of demonstrative evidence. Ultimately, he provides skilled testimony at deposition and trial.
